FSIA Protects Afghanistan
In a lawsuit by victims of the terror bombings in Nairobi, Kenya,
Odilla Mutaka Mwani et al. v. Osama bin Laden and Afghanistan, no. 04-5266, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit granted Afghanistan's FSIA immunity claim on August 5, 2005 while it held in favor of the plaintiffs' claims that
